About EMESET 4MG
EMESET 4MG belongs to a group of medications called ‘ anti-emetics’ primarily used in the prevention of vomiting (being sick) and nausea (feeling sick) that usually occur after cancer chemotherapy, radiation treatment or surgery. Nausea is an uneasy feeling in which a person feels an urge to vomit while vomiting is the natural response to the body to forcefully discharge the stomach contents.
EMESET 4MG contains ‘Ondanestron’ that works by blocking the action of a chemical in the body (serotonin) responsible for causing nausea and vomiting. As a result, EMESET 4MG prevents the sensation of nausea and vomiting caused due to conditions like surgery, cancer chemotherapy, pregnancy or motion sickness.
EMESET 4MG can be taken with or without a meal with a full glass of water. EMESET 4MG is available in three forms, namely Orally disintegrating Tablets, tablets, and oral solution. The doctor will suggest the right way of taking medicine after checking the dosing form. A person taking EMESET 4MG often experience side effects that include a feeling of warmth, constipation, headache, diarrhea, headache, drowsiness, feeling of tiredness. Directions for Use
Tablet: EMESET 4MG can be taken with or without a meal as suggested by the doctor. The first dosage of this medicine is generally ingested before the starting of chemotherapy, radiation treatment, or surgery. Oral disintegrating tablet: Keep EMESET 4MG beneath the tongue and allow it to dissolve in the mouth itself. Do not swallow this medicine. Injection: The nurse or doctor will inject EMESET 4MG , so do not self administer.
