Voveran Emulgel 30 gm is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, strain, sprain, arthritis, contusions (bruise), post-traumatic pain, and low back pain. Musculoskeletal pain could occur due to arthritis, osteoporosis, fractures, dislocations, problems with the bone structure or injury to the bones, joints, tendons, muscles, and ligaments. Osteoarthritis is a joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering called cartilage.
Voveran Emulgel 30 gm contains Diclofenac dimethylamine which works by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make another chemical prostaglandin (PG). By blocking the effect of COX enzymes, lesser PGs are produced; this helps in reducing mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site.
Voveran Emulgel 30 gm is for external use only. You are advised to use Voveran Emulgel 30 gm for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as application site reactions like itching, irritation, redness, and burning sensation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
Voveran Emulgel 30 gm can increase the risk of a fatal heart attack or stroke. So, if you have had any recent heart surgery, do not use Voveran Emulgel 30 gm . Consult a doctor before using Voveran Emulgel 30 gm if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Voveran Emulgel 30 gm is not recommended for children below 14years. Avoid alcohol consumption as it might increase the risk of stomach bleeding. Avoid using Voveran Emulgel 30 gm if you are during the perioperative period in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft surgery.

Directions for Use
Voveran Emulgel 30 gm is for external use only. Cream/Ointment/Gel: Take a pea-sized amount and apply it directly onto the affected area. Spray: Point the nozzle towards the area of application and spray the medication from at least 6-8inches away from the application site for even distribution of the drug. Gently spread the medication if required, do not rub.

Inform your doctor if you have peptic ulcers, heart surgery, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, stomach ulcers, bleeding problems, asthma, fluid retention, inflammatory bowel disease, kidney or liver problems. Consult a doctor before using DICLOFENAC DIETHYLAMINE if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. DICLOFENAC DIETHYLAMINE is not recommended for children below 14years. Inform your doctor before using DICLOFENAC DIETHYLAMINE if you are taking any NSAID/pain killers orally. Stop taking DICLOFENAC DIETHYLAMINE and consult your doctor immediately if you have stomach pain or any signs of bleeding in the intestine or stomach, such as blood in stools.
