It is used to treat the following conditions:

Blood pressure that is too high

Pain in the chest (angina pectoris)

Irregular heart rhythm is a condition in which the heart beats irregularly.

If you’re allergic to this medicine or any of its ingredients, don’t take it.

If you have a heart conduction problem (such as AV block) or uncontrolled heart failure, you should see a doctor.

If you have ill sinus syndrome, you should see a doctor as soon as possible (abnormal heart rhythms due to malfunction of sinus node)

If you develop persistent chest discomfort that occurs at rest between the hours of midnight and early morning (Prinzmetal’s angina), see your doctor.

If your limbs’ blood supply has been compromised (peripheral arterial disease)

If you have severe asthma or COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), consult your doctor (COPD)

If you have untreated high blood pressure as a result of an adrenal gland tumor (phaechromocytoma)

If you suffer from a condition known as metabolic acidosis (increased acidity in your body)

If you’re taking disopyramide to treat an abnormal heart rhythm,

If you have diabetes and your blood sugar levels are frequently low (hypoglycaemia)

If you have a low blood pressure problem (hypotension)

Pregnancy

Is it safe to use Topme Xl 50mg Tab when I’m pregnant?

It is not advised to use during pregnancy.

Breastfeeding

Is it OK for me to use Topme Xl 50mg Tab while I’m breastfeeding?

This drug is not suggested if you are breastfeeding because it goes into the mother’s milk. In such circumstances, the infant must be closely monitored for side symptoms such as a lowering of the heart rate.

Driving

Can I drive after taking Topme Xl 50mg Tab? This medication will impair your ability to drive or operate machinery. If you’re feeling dizzy or exhausted, don’t drive or use machinery.

Alcohol

Can I drink alcohol while taking Topme Xl 50mg Tab? Alcohol should not be consumed while taking this medication since it may cause drowsiness or a reduction in blood pressure.

Topme Xl 50 MG Dosage Overdosage

Low blood pressure, irregular pulse, heart failure, shock, loss of consciousness, coma, nausea, vomiting, bluish lips, tongue, and skin, and low potassium or calcium levels in the blood are all signs of an overdose.

If you think you’ve taken too much of this medicine, call your doctor or go to the nearest hospital right away.

Have you missed a dose?

If you forget to take a dose, do so as soon as you remember. If your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and return to your regular dosing plan. To make up for a missed dose, do not take a double dose of medicine.
